Wine produced with nebbiolo grapes coming from the historic vineyard Cerequio in the municipality of Barolo. This vineyard is classified as one of the best cru (1st category). The colour is deep ruby with garnet tints. The bouquet is extremely rich and complex, with notes where are dominant liquorice, goudron and truffle; on the palate the powerful structure and tannins emerge as guarantee of a long ageing of the wine. It is matured in cask for 24 months and refined in bottle for 12 months. Serving temperature is 19-20°C and it can be served with important roast meat dishes, feathered game, ripe and strong cheeses.
It is excellent also after meal as meditation wine.
