WEATHER CONDITIONS

The beginning of spring was quite difficult, with very low temperatures in March and April. Afterwards, May was characterized by heavy rainfalls, while the weather conditions gradually improved starting from June.
The summer was positive and not too hot, with positive consequences again for late-harvesting vines, such as nebbiolo. The weather was excellent from August to the harvest.

Grape harvest date
FROM 14 TO 23 OCTOBER

We had to patiently wait for the right ripening of nebbiolo, completing the harvest in early November. We will have an excellent Barolo wine, with great longevity and rich in complex aromas.

GROWING SEASON

We can say that the year as a whole was difficult; however, those who were able to interpret it will have great satisfaction. The start of the growing season

was very slow due to the adverse weather conditions in spring, blossoming was regular in the second ten days of June and the delay was not recovered.

YIELD

In general, the yield was approximately 5% below the average.
