This very peculiar vineyard is in the territory of Barolo, has a South/South-East exposure and a height of 300 metres above sea level.
The area is characterized by an extraordinary microclimate, which is ideal to develop and enhance the vineyard best qualities; the proof is that snow melts immediately and the elders call this place “Riviera of the Langhe”.
The soil is clayey with blue marls and mildly sandy limestone. The area is characterized by an extraordinary microclimate, which is ideal to develop and enhance the vineyard best qualities; the Barolo Cerequio (already classified as 1st category cru) was already considered a “top-quality area” for Barolo wine production in the nineteenth century by Lorenzo Fantini, a famous agronomist.
