The vineyards are located at Cascina Sorello, the highest part of the territory of La Morra, at a height of approximately 450 m above sea level and have a South/South-West exposure.
It is the Barolo production area with the highest height, characterized by a soil mainly consisting of blue marls.
This area, directly looking over the Alps, has a fresh climate that gives a Barolo wine of medium structure that reaches full maturity more quickly, with marked aromas, not excessive tannins and a light verticality; quite pleasant to drink even as a young wine.
