The Nebbiolo vineyards owned by the company are located in two typical municipalities: Castiglione Falletto (Cascina La Brunella) and Barolo (Borgata Cerequio). All the production and aging processes of Barolo are concentrated in the<b>\u00a0wineries of vinification and aging\u00a0<\/b>at Cascina la Brunella, in the municipality of Castiglione Falletto. This is why we have chosen, with this article, to delve into the history, characteristics, and territory in which the Barolo wine of Castiglione Falletto takes shape.<\/p>\n<h2>The history of Barolo from Castiglione Falletto<\/h2>\n<p>When we think of wine, we think of tradition, territory, research, and the dedication of winemakers. Producing wine means telling a story. Each bottle claims its own identity made of tastes and flavors, but the quality of a wine is not enough without a narrative, a precise imagery made of cultural heritage, places, cellars, and people. The<b>\u00a0Barolo from Castiglione Falletto<\/b>\u00a0has a story. The idea of producing a Barolo wine from the terroir of Castiglione Falletto arose as a result of years of study on the vineyards carried out by the Boroli estate. Through vineyard zoning and critical observation of the plots, certain parcels of land were identified that, due to environmental and cultural factors, were better suited to expressing the peculiar characteristics of the terroir and the\u00a0<b>production of Barolo from Castiglione Falletto<\/b>. At the foundation of this wine is a desire: to transmit the unique character of the territory, making it recognizable to all Barolo lovers. But there\u2019s more. Following various research in the historical archive of the town, the Boroli family discovered a document that testifies to the existence of Collina Brunella since 1624. Or rather, it tells the connection between the Brunella vineyards and the inhabitants of Castiglione Falletto. The wine produced by Cascina La Brunella was sold to the local people.
