{"id":1538,"date":"2017-09-29T16:35:36","date_gmt":"2017-09-29T14:35:36","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/www.boroli.it\/the-barolo-that-was-missing\/"},"modified":"2023-10-12T16:26:49","modified_gmt":"2023-10-12T14:26:49","slug":"the-barolo-that-was-missing","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/www.boroli.it\/en\/the-barolo-that-was-missing\/","title":{"rendered":"The Barolo that was missing"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>Thursday, 14 September at the elegant\u00a0<em>Mandarin Bistrot<\/em>\u00a0in Milan we presented the latest newcomer to the Boroli family:\u00a0<strong>Barolo Brunella 2013.<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>Incorporating this newcomer in a horizontal tasting that also included\u00a0<a href=\"https:\/\/www.boroli.it\/en\/vintages\/barolo-2013\/\">Barolo 2013<\/a>,\u00a0<a href=\"https:\/\/www.boroli.it\/en\/vintages\/barolo-cerequio-2013\/\">Barolo Cerequio 2013<\/a>\u00a0and\u00a0<a href=\"https:\/\/www.boroli.it\/en\/vintages\/barolo-villero-2013\/\">Barolo Villero 2013<\/a>, we wanted to share the results of a great project with the tasters and journalists present, and at the same time, show how it is a perfect celebration of the\u00a0<strong>\u201cBoroli Taste\u201d<\/strong>.<\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p>Bright ruby red with light orange highlights and a clear-cut aroma with an initial liquorice note followed by fruitier ones, this \u201c<em>young Barolo<\/em>\u201d is the first in history to bear the name of the Boroli monopole Castiglione Falletto cru on its label.<\/p>\n<p>From the heart of the Langhe to the Lombardy region\u2019s capital, we decided to complete the presentation of the new \u201c<em>king of wines<\/em>\u201d with award-winning chef\u00a0<strong>Antonio Guida<\/strong>\u2019s delicious dishes, and by gifting our guests with a copy of the book \u201c<em>Brunella.
