Barolo Villero 2007

2007

Barolo Villero 2007, a wine born in the vineyards of Villero with Nebbiolo grapes, is a sensory work of art.
The bouquet envelops the senses with notes of ripe cherry, rose, tobacco and spices. In the mouth, it offers a symphony of silky tannins and a richness of flavors that embrace red fruit, leather and earth.
Barolo Villero is a tasting that enchants and celebrates the Italian winemaking mastery.

Vegetative cycle

Due to the mild winter, the growing season started well in advance: blossoming started between 5 and 10 May; then, a cool period slowed up the phenological cycle, only partially reducing the advance of the previous months.

The health of the 2007 grapes was excellent and harvesting operations started well in advance. The general conditions of Nebbiolo for Barolo at racking were excellent, with very good alcohol contents and intense aromas for our 2007 Barolo Villero.

Climatic trend

2007 Barolo Villero was a particular and anomalous vintage, with a very mild winter followed by a not very hot spring and summer (with the exception of some scorching days in July), with low rainfall.
The winds were constant even in the hotter period, with a low level of humidity.

The bouquet is broad and pleasant, with scents of wilted flowers and vanilla; in the mouth it is full and the sweet tannins make it complete.
