The germination process took place uniformly, unimpeded by late frosts.

September 2018, as has been the case for a number of years, presented favorable weather, contributing significantly to the quality of 2018 Barolo produced by vines with a medium-long growing cycle, which were able to take full advantage of it.
The 2018 Barolo season began with a prolonged winter and abundant rains, which helped restore moisture in the soil, previously reduced due to the year’s weather conditions. This winter lasted until the beginning of March, characterized by lower than average temperatures in recent years, which led to a gradual and slow resumption of vine growth, which was completed towards the end of that month.
Between the end of May and the beginning of June, in our viticultural region, we experienced a period with numerous disturbances and heavy rains.
The summer developed gradually, with a significant rise in temperatures starting in mid-July.
Nebbiolo was harvested following the traditional calendar, at the beginning of October, and harvest operations extended for about three weeks
